All sessions must be prepaid. 24 hours notice must be given to cancel a class. Where possible a make up class will be offered. face to Face Group Classes Payments are due 2 weeks prior to class starting. Minimum class size is 4 students. Classes will be cancelled and a refund issued if there are insufficient students. Refunds will not be given if a student discontinues a class that has begun, or if notice of cancellation is given less than 7 days prior to class starting. Late enrolments : Subject to availability you may begin a course during the term and pay a reduced fee. Face to Face Private Lessons At least 7 days notice must be given to cancel Private Lessons or for rescheduling. There will be no refunds for any lessons cancelled less than 7 days before appointment. |

Thinking Artz / Sandra is committed to ensuring all children feel safe and included in our workshops. We strive to foster an inclusive environment where children can explore creative activities in a safe and encouraging environment, where their opinions and efforts are valued.
Child Safety
Children will be encouraged to participate in all the activities with teachers making allowances for the age and ability of each child to ensure their safety.
Children are supervised by staff at all times
A child is required to bring own asthma inhaler and epipen if required and action plan from doctor. All staff have emergency e-training https://etraining.allergy.org.au/
At the time of booking, parent’s/guardians are obligated to disclose any special requirements or special needs of their child that may require modification to the planning and participation in activities.
A child will only be released at the end of the session directly to nominated adult/guardian.
Staff
All staff have a Working With Children Check authorisation and are experienced trained or in training school teachers.
Staff are kept up to date with changes in policy and Child Safety practices and sign a Code of Conduct statement.
Staff are trained in identifying potential risks and are given strategies to take action on managing these risks.
Social Media Policy
All personal information collected will be only accessed by relevant staff and will not be disclosed to other sources. Photographs of children’s work may be taken only with permission of parent/guardian and may be used in advertising flyers digital and printed or on Thinking Artz social media platforms and Thinking Artz web site. No names or photos of children faces or other will be posted on social media platforms or web sites.
Communication
We have specific procedures for any reports of inappropriate behaviour of our staff and we encourage you to contact management.
What if my child becomes sick during a face to face workshop?
A child will not be allowed to attend a face to face workshop if showing symptoms of being sick.
If a child becomes sick during the day, the parent/guardian will be expected to collect the child from the workshop promptly. As per NSW Health guidelines for Covid 19 the child will need to get tested if they have any symptoms and stay home while you wait for test results.edit.
